After I saw the leaked picture of the Motorola made Nexus 6 listed on AT&T's website being shared on Google+, I immediately went to check it there myself. As expected, there was no trace of it - the link had been removed. Now I didn't think it would work, but just thought of trying my luck - and initiated a chat with their customer representative by their 'Chat' link. This is what I got from that conversation:
